Coronation Street Spoilers: James Loses His Dream Career After Interaction Turns Violent

ITV Coronation Street updates and spoilers hint that James Bailey (Nathan Graham) may lose his dream career as a football player after getting into an altercation with a so-called fan. This “fan” attacked James because of a rumor about his sexuality that caused him to be outed.

James had been told that his future was safe and that he would even be supported if he came out as being gay. However, he decided against it and hoped to be able to continue as normal, but things will become rough for him soon as he is approached by someone who cannot accept him for who he is.

Coronation Street Spoilers – James Bailey Loses His Dream

James has already been pushed away by someone close to him because of his sexuality as his father, Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) did not accept him for who he was. After the altercation where the “fan” throws out homophobic slurs, James’ worst fear may come true. As things become crazy for the club and it may be possible that James will be pushed aside by them. James will learn that he is going to be transferred because of the altercation. He then is forced to say that he dropped from the squad and becomes heartbroken.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Ed Bailey Faces Racism

At the moment, it seems that Ed will also be experiencing some bigotry as well since Don will take shots at Ed, and Michael will have to come to Ed’s defense, but Don just turns his horrible words to Michael. However, Ed and Aggie decided to not fight against Don. Michael, Ed, and Aggie continue to get racist remarks from Don but do not back down or give in. They continue to focus on the bistro opening party but Don is relentless with his language. At this point, Ed will stand up to him which will lead to his history with racism.

James being there leaves quickly making up his mind that he would leave the football team thinking that he would not be accepted. At the same time, Aggie tells Ed that she is proud of him but will tell him that she wishes that she could be proud of him for accepting James as well which pushes him to understand James a little more.
