McAlpine noted that her alter ego thinks that she chose the right man. Fiz appreciates Phill. He tells her sweet things and she enjoys doing things with her that Tyrone doesn’t. She no longer has doubts about her decision because she has come to accept that the Tyrone before Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu), which she wants, no longer exists.

Tyrone will confess to Fiz that he still loves her. McAlpine said that her character isn’t surprised by Tyrone’s confession. He has made it very obvious that he wants to get back with her in the past few months. However, the timing of Tyrone’s confession is bad since Fiz wants to be with Phill.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Jennie McAlpine Weighs In On Fiz Stape’s Wedding

When asked about Fiz’S wedding, the actress admitted that she has “not loved” filming scenes as the bride. The actress said she and her husband just eloped, which was totally different from what her alter ego is going through right now.

McAlpine would rather do away with all the fuss. She doesn’t think that Fiz should have such a big wedding. But she also thinks the wedding was a good thing for the rest of the crew. They got the chance to be more creative once again. She recalled how difficult things were when they were filming scenes during the pandemic. So, Fiz’s wedding was the first big thing that they got to work on.
