Coronation Street Spoilers: Jenny Connor Unearths Sharon Bentley’s Secret

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that landlady Jenny Connor will discover Sharon Bentley’s secret next week.

Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) has been on guard against Sharon (Tracie Bennett) since she returned to the cobbles after 22 years of disappearance. Sharon reappeared on April 21’s episode to be reunited with her foster mother, Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox), after leaving a blast in the past.

Jenny remains unaware that Sharon has been taking over her nephew and drug lord Harvey Gaskell’s (Will Mellor) dirty work in planning a revenge plan against Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson). Sharon has advanced her dark plans by setting up the kidnap of Sam Blakeman (Alex Bain) as part of her mission to persuade Leanne in changing her statement against Harvey, who remains locked up on drug charges.

However, in the upcoming scenes, Jenny will figure out Sharon’s connection with her villainous nephew.

Coronation Street Spoilers – In Two Minds

In next week’s episode, Sharon shares her plans for moving back home with Gemma Winter. While Gemma insists on celebrating for a leaving drink, Sally begins to be suspicious with Sharon changing her plans abruptly.

Coincidentally, Sharon shares lunch with Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) at the Bistro later that scene, unaware that Jenny and her husband Johnny were there. Johnny recognizes Sharon from her visits to the prison and Jenny explained she was part of the mentoring scheme.

But Johnny unveils the truth when he contradicted and said there’s no such thing as mentoring scheme. Jenny’s suspicion grows stronger when she realizes that Sharon might have lied to her.

“She’s not happy about the fact that Sharon is someone who really hurt Rita,” Sally Ann Matthews said. “She’s suspicious of her from that point of view. She’s being convinced Sharon has turned over a new leaf, Rita’s convinced her everyone needs a second chance and Jenny’s going along with that,” she told Express.co.uk in a recent interview.

Coronation Street Spoilers – An Eye For An Eye

As Jenny seeks to learn the truth, she asks for help from Gary Windass to find any information about Harvey. Not long, Jenny learns that Harvey and Sharon are related.

Although she learns the truth about their relationship, there’s still more information she should dig about the wicked duo, especially about Harvey’s revenge schemes towards Leanne.

If Jenny starts to talk on the street, it will be the end of Sharon’s secret. However, alas, Sharon has something against Jenny. She has observed the intimate connection between Jenny and Ronnie, who have recently slept together at The Rovers.

“Anything between these two is just a joy to do. We work really well together. It’s so big and so unique,” Matthews continued and teased on a conflict between Jenny and Sharon.
