Coronation Street Spoilers: Kelly Witnesses Gary’s Murderous Side

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Kelly Neelan (Mille Gibson) will witness, first-hand, Gary Windass’ (Mikey North) murderous side. The latter goes on rage when he saves Kelly from getting kidnapped.

Fans know that Gary has a deadly side. When push comes to shove, he won’t hesitate to defend himself when his life is at risk. That’s what happened three years ago, during his showdown with Rick. Gary killed him in self-defense and Kelly has no idea that Gary is responsible for the death of his late father.

Gary Goes Into Murderous Rage

Kelly gets to see Gary’s true colors when he rescues her from her kidnappers. Gary put together £24,000 in cash to pay for her ransom. However, Kieron and Ross refused to release her. They wanted to get the rest of Rick’s cash, leaving Gary infuriated.

Gary places a tracking device in the money bag, which leads him to the place Kelly is being kept. Kelly and Gary try to escape, but Kieron attacks them with a crowbar. As Gary and Kieron fight, Kelly grabs the crowbar and hits her kidnapper on the head.

Gary demands Kelly to hand over the crowbar so he can finish Kieron, leaving Kelly shocked at the idea of killing a person. Fortunately, Gary didn’t go as far as killing Kelly’s hostage taker. Later on, Kelly continues to feel disturbed by Gary’s behavior and confronts him about it. The latter then asks Kelly to keep what happened with Kieron a secret.

Gary had the chance to admit to Kelly that he killed her father, but he didn’t. Instead, he denied behaving like that before. They both agreed to keep what happened a secret, especially from (Samia Longchambon). Will Kelly find out that it was Gary who killed her father?

Mikey North Opens Up About Gary’s Secret

When asked about the possibility of Kelly learning about his dark secret, the actor said that Kelly might forgive him for what he’s done. Laura Neelan (Kel Allen) found out about it and still managed to forgive him. The actor hopes that Kelly will forgive his alter ego, too.

He added that Gary took Kelly under his wing, and he has started to bond with her like she is his own daughter.

“I think that can help build towards his redemption as well, that he’s looking after her. He took on Laura when she was dying as well. Time will tell but hopefully, he’s doing enough to be redeemed in some way,” the actor said.

When asked what would happen if the rest of his neighbors learned that he’s a murderer, the actor admitted that he has no idea. He believes it’ll be “huge” when that happens, and his character’s storyline is gearing towards that. He’s eager to find out how that secret would affect Gary and Kelly’s relationship.
