Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Ken Barlow spends time with his old flame, Wendy Crozier. Wendy Crozier (Roberta Kerr) made her way back to Weatherfield after being away for more than a decade. Last 2012, Wendy tried to rekindle her relationship with Ken (William Roache), but the latter refused the idea.

In her upcoming episode, the newcomer will be introduced as Wendy Papadopoulos as she married Christos Papadopoulos after calling it quits with Ken. However, she ended up a widow when her husband didn’t survive his battle with lung cancer.

After Imran Habeeb’s death, Abi Webster (Sally Carman) continues her fight for her son’s custody, she is placed in a mother and baby foster facility to assess her capabilities as a mom. She will soon meet Wendy, their foster carer. When Abi mentions she’s from “Coronation Street,” Wendy keeps her counsel.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Ken Barlow Invites Wendy Crozier Over

Wendy finally tells Abi Webster (Sally Carman) regarding her previous connection in the cobbles, which makes the latter find a way to reconnect with her former sweetheart. Meanwhile, Abi distracts the displeased Tracy, so Wendy can have a peaceful conversation with Ken. However, Tracy still gets to witness the two when she spots them going out of the café together.

In the upcoming scenes, Ken invites Wendy to come over to his house to enjoy a cup of coffee and a lasagna. The two find themselves reminiscing and expressing their feelings of loneliness since their respective spouses eternally left them behind.

Now that the two see each other again, will this be another love story in Weatherfield?

When she stepped foot in the cobbles one more time, Roberta Kerr expressed her delight about the new environment and costars in the soap. “It’s great, fantastic. It’s a completely different place, of course, because the last time I was here, was in 2012 and it was before they moved. It’s very, very, new,” she said per Digital Spy.

Talking about working with Sally Carman, the actress revealed that they immediately clicked due to their common friends and the theatre company where they both worked before.

“She’s so friendly, it’s great. I do still know some of the cast from before, and I’ve met with people who have just started because it’s quite a small world,” Kerr stated.
