Even though things didn’t end very pleasantly, Lucas stuns Carla by showing up at her work without warning.

Coronation Street spoilers – Carla Connor Unsettled

Due to how they left things, Carla feels unsettled and awkward. He also didn’t announce that he was going to be coming. While Carla is uncomfortable, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) is thrilled at the opportunity for Underworld to increase profits. Later, Carla tells Peter that she has to go to Harrogate for business. She tells him that she has to pitch to someone at Lucas’ firm. She neglects to tell him that the person she is meeting ins’t just anyone from the firm… it’s Lucas himself! It means that Carla has to cancel their plans for the evening, which doesn’t make Peter happy and he makes sure she knows it.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that before making the trip to Harrogate, Carla and Lucas meet at Underworld to discuss the sales pitch strategy. They don’t notice that Peter isn’t far behind them. He feels bad about fighting with Carla earlier and brought her flowers to make up for it. However, his attitude changes when he overhears part of their conversation. It makes him convinced that the two are having a steamy affair.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Assumptions And Accusations

Peter overheard something that upset him and left him heartbroken. However, we’re unsure what it is. Most likely, he only heard one part of the discussion. If he stuck around to listen to everything, then maybe he would reach a different conclusion. It creates a divide between the couple and Peter ends up storming into Underworld later and accuses Carla of sleeping with Lucas. She manages to catch up with him eventually and finds him devastated. She learns what he overheard, but will she be able to explain?

Will Lucas end up splitting them up for good? Or can they survive yet another obstacle in their relationship? It seems like Peter and Carla keep fighting to stay together but fate keeps throwing them curveballs. To find out what happens with their relationship, we will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera.
