Coronation Street Spoilers – Maureen Lipman And David Neilson Return

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Lipman and Neilson have returned to filming, even though many other actors in the same age group still have not gotten the green light. Coronation Street Spoilers – When Will Others Come Back?

84-year-old Bill Roache, who plays Ken Barlow, has not returned to work yet. This week, he told Andi Peters on Lorraine that he has been told that he might be called back after August.

“The over 70s haven’t been called yet. I’ve been told I might be called after August. I hope so. We’re ready and willing, but no, heard nothing yet… I have been very fortunate. I understand it has been very difficult for many people, but I have my two children who are normally in London… I’ve been drawing and writing a story that I’m really enjoying.”

It is reported that the older cast will return using a staggered formula and everyone will have to undergo a risk assessment. This will likely determine who returns first and which actors will have to wait. However, the fact that two cast members in the high-risk age group have already come back is a great sign. It means that others should soon be coming back to work, as well.
