Coronation Street Spoilers: Mikey North Opens Up About Gary Windass’ Fears

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Mikey North has a lot of things to say about his character’s current storyline. The actor noted that Kelly’s questions “scares” his alter ego, Gary Windass. He’s worried that his secret is about to come out.

Kelly Gets Kidnapped

Spoilers hint that Kelly will get kidnapped by the former clients of her late father. She currently has no idea that Gary is responsible for the date of her dad.

When Kieron and Ross takes Kelly, Gary manages to find her when he brings the ransom that the men had demanded. He barges into Kelly’s cell and rescues her. But they won’t get out without a fight. He’ll be ready to beat her captors to death. Kelly will then start to become suspicious after seeing Gary’s dark side.

What Is Gary Afraid Of?

In an interview with Digital Spy, North said that Gary is a man who always has a plan and he knows what he’s doing. He breaks into the cellar where Kelly is being kept. But before they could leave, Keiron manages to knock him unconscious. When Gary comes to, he goes all out and is no longer holding his punches.

“It’s like mirroring what happened with Rick, the bad guy has got his family or is about to get his family – it was Sarah and Bethany when he killed Rick, this time it’s Kelly. The rest of his family have been threatened, there are some similarities,” North said.

Will Gary Kill Again?

North also teased that his character won’t hesitate to kill again if that’s what it takes to save his family. He also admitted that his alter ego is scared when Kelly starts to ask questions after seeing his dark side. North added his fight scenes are the best to film. He felt like he was in The Matrix.

Kelly is getting closer to the truth. Gary’s secret that he was responsible for the death of Kelly’s father will soon come out. He’s feeling guilty for what he’s done and for lying to her. He’s trying to cover up for his faults by taking her in.

Aadi and Kelly To Start Over?

Kelly realizes her faults after her kidnap ordeal. She apologizes to Aadi for how she treated him. He feels even more delighted when she tells him that he would like to start over.
