Coronation Street Spoilers: Paula Wilcox Hints At End Of Geoff Storyline Being A Twist No One Will Expect

Coronation Street: Paula Wilcox (Elaine Jones)ITV Coronation Street Spoilers hint that Paula Wilcox has revealed that there will be a conclusion to the Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Barthomolew) storyline that will be something that no one will see coming. The Geoff storyline is heating up with the involvement of a new character name Elaine played by Paula Wilcox. It seems that it will continue to heat up until the end of the storyline, which will be huge.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Elaine’s Return, Geoff Metcalfe’s Downfall

It a recent episode, The newcomer, Elaine revealed that she was the long lost mother who was believed to have been dead. Before she ran away from Geoff leaving behind Tim, she went by the name Philippa but changed it after the divorce. She also revealed that the reason that she left was that she was being abused by Geoff and had to make the decision to leave her son behind in order to save herself.

Paula went on to Lorraine and talked about the storyline which suggested that Elaine may still play a big part in Geoff’s downfall. Although in upcoming episodes, she will run into her own problems. She went on to say, “I think so, yeah. There is a big climax coming, for sure. And I don’t think anybody will see that quite coming.”

Coronation Street Spoilers – Paula Wilcox’s Two Characters

During the conversation that they had, Paula talked more about her previous appearance on Coronation Street as she was on the show in the late 1960s as the character, Janice Langton. “I was 18, I was playing a 15-year-old but I was 18, I could obviously remember what it was like to be 15 and a rebel. I think I was called Janice, she had escaped from a borstal of some sort.

She was on the run and she comes to find her brother Ray to get some money out of him and then continue on her merry way, and she disappeared a couple of weeks later. So I was in it for three weeks. It was just about one of the first jobs I ever did, so it was really thrilling, actually. The whole thing was gob-smacking.”
