The good samaritan then offered Peter a sip from his flask, obviously unaware that he was a recovering addict. Will he tell Carla Connor (Alison King) the truth or try to hide his relapse? Corrie spoilers reveal that Peter and Carla got into an argument. Afterward, he went to work but was attacked by a thug. The criminal not only assaulted Peter (Chris Gascoyne) but also stole his taxi. After the vicious and brutal assault, there was someone who was nearby and offered assistance. They called the police and, trying to calm Peter’s nerves, offered him a sip of whiskey from a flask. Unable to continue being strong, Peter took more than one drink.

The passerby offered Peter one drink. He surely didn’t expect him to down the entire contents of his flask. But that is exactly what an injured Peter ended up doing. Then, he went to Weatherfield and bought mouthwash.

Carla Connor’s Remorse

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Carla (Alison King) learned about Peter being brutally attacked. She felt terrible about the fight they had earlier. She said some pretty harsh things to Peter and tried apologizing. Carla also told him that she loves him. Just then, Peter went into the yard so he could mask the smell of alcohol on his breath.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Peter Barlow Hospitalized

It is teased that Peter ends up buying a bottle of alcohol after the attack. Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) and Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) discover Peter, who is in really bad shape. They take him to the hospital, which is observed by one of Carla’s co-workers. She ends up calling Carla to ask what happened, which prompts her to find out by going to the hospital.

It is suggested that Carla knows that he relapsed and she’s angry. Peter tells her that he loves her and doesn’t deserve her when he regains consciousness. However, will she forgive him or is this the beginning of the end?
