Coronation Street Spoilers – Wendy Crozier Meets Abi Webster

Kerr’s alter ego, Wendy, will play a part in Abi Webster’s (Sally Carmen) custody battle for baby Alife. In the ongoing storyline, Abi will reapply for custody of her son if she wants to have him back in her life. She has little time to prepare since the hearing would take place the next day.

She has no clue that the woman she talked to is the judge at her hearing. Abi thinks she’s blown off her chance at getting Alfie back after sharing her pessimism with the judge. But later on, the judge rules that Alfie and Abi should be placed in a mother and baby foster facility. That’s where she’ll meet Wendy, who works as a foster carer.

“Wendy has been working as a fosterer in the interim and more recently, she has been doing this mother and baby suitability assessing,” Kerr said.

“She is teaching Abi parenting skills, and assessing how suitable she’d be to have Alfie back with her full time. It’s a big change, I love it and I think it’s fantastic,” she continued.
