Jenny Connor Suspects Sharon Bentley Is Up To Something

Jenny isn’t convinced of Sharon’s sincerity and thinks that she’s back for Rita’s money. The latter, however, told Jenny that she remembered Sharon’s past behavior. But she believes that everyone deserves a second chance including Sharon.

What others don’t know is that Sharon is back by order of her nephew Harvey. He asked her to find Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), who is currently in hiding together with Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price). Fans may recall that Leanne and Simon feared for their life after Harvey found out that they betrayed him by working with the police.

Sharon needs to find Leanne and force her to change her police statement against Harvey. No one else is wary of Sharon’s return except for Jenny and Shona Platt (Julia Goulding).

In an interview with the media, Matthew said, “Sharon ripped Rita off a few years ago. Jenny is not happy about the fact that there was somebody who really hurt Rita, so she’s suspicious of her from that point of view.”

Not only that, Jenny came across Sharon outside the prison. The latter was visiting Harvey while Jenny visited her husband Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley).

Coronation Street Spoilers – A Major Confrontation Between Jenny Connor And Sharon Bentley

“Rita has convinced her that everybody needs a second chance saying ‘Jenny you had one and so did you Gemma’ and Jenny’s gone along with that, but she has now bumped into Sharon outside the prison,” she explained.

“And Jenny turns into Weatherfield’s answer to Angela Lansbury pulling pints and that’s the opening titles instead of a typewriter, on the trail. Like Jenny from Gogglebox with notes about what Sharon’s done!” she continued.

Viewers have to wait and see what will be revealed about Sharon. But Matthews hinted that Jenny and Sharon will have a major confrontation but she didn’t say what it’s about.
