Corrie spoilers reveal that Geoff is desperate to regain control over Yasmeen. He doesn’t want the truth coming out in court, especially now that Yasmeen has two allies: Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor). He knows it is just a matter of time before his facade is ripped away and he can’t risk public exposure. So, he comes up with another plan, talks to Yasmeen, and tries luring her back to him.

‘He’s A Complicated Man’

According to Digital Spy, King explained Yasmeen considering returning to the same man who tormented her for two years. The actress said that we hear Yasmeen continually saying to Alya,

‘He’s a complicated man, you don’t understand him’. And the second thing that she says to Alya, which she brings up to her many, many times is: ‘I did it. Whatever he did, I had no right to treat him in the way that I did. I had no right. Whatever he did, I should not have done what I did’.”

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that when Yasmeen talks to Geoff, there is one reason why she doesn’t just hang up. She hears Geoff’s voice and desperately wants to hear him apologize and to say he’s going to get professional help.

However, what he says instead still stops Yasmeen in her tracks and gets her wondering if a future is possible. He tells Yasmeen that he is “willing to forgive her.” She is also tempted to take Geoff up on his offer. She doesn’t want to go to prison and doesn’t want her dirty laundry aired to the public. She wants her old life back, in a sense.

“She just wants to be left alone and to carry on her life in her little community, which she’s spent the last few years creating.”
