In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) once again stepped foot on the cobbles, leaving the residents to believe that he was a successful businessman in Milan. However, in the last sequence, he was seen using Gabrielle Reid’s card to pay for Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) afternoon tea with her friends.

Meanwhile, in the pub, Carla (Alison King) opened up to Peter (Chris Gascoyne) and Ken (William Roache) about the newcomer, who showed interest in collaborating with her Underworld business. The two gentlemen believed that Stephen would be a great addition to the company, but Carla felt the opposite.

She shares her ideas and plans for the betterment of the company. On the other hand, Stephen listens to every word his niece is saying and vows that he will make a way to convince Carla to consider Sarah’s plans.

Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) finds comfort with a bottle of liquor after she advised her ex-boyfriend to follow his dreams and leave Weatherfield if he must. As she deals with her brokenness, she invites Stephen to come over. As soon as the man arrives in the back room of the Rovers Return, Jenny throws herself to him and kisses Stephen passionately.

Meanwhile, Rita (Barbara Knox) and Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) convince Leo not to leave the cobbles, so the man returns to the pub with an engagement ring. Gemma then leads him to the back room. Will he catch Jenny and Stephen with their flirty thing?
