Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Stephen Reid will once again involve himself in a bloody moment in the cobbles.

In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, the cobbles’ villain set an eye on his next victim, Elaine (Paula Wilcox). It all started when he knew that the woman got a large amount of equity in her home. To feed his money matters, Stephen (Todd Boyce) then tried to stick with Elaine as much as possible.

On the other hand, Elaine’s son, Tim, warned his mom about Stephen when he noticed the close relationship between the two. Elaine then assured his son that the man was far from her abusive ex-husband, Geoff.

Determined to keep his mom safe, Tim talked to Stephen and stated Elaine’s experiences under her previous marriage. However, instead of showing sympathy for Elaine’s traumatic past, Stephen used it as a trap to involve her in his wicked plans.

The viewers have previously seen Stephen Reid arguing with Leo (Joe Frost), which ended up in a bloody scene. To cover up his crime, the villain made Leo’s loved ones believe that the man has moved to Canada to start a new life. Using Leo’s phone, Stephen sent a message to Teddy, pretending to be the deceased man, saying to stop connecting with him.

In the upcoming episode of “Coronation Street,” Leo’s dad, Teddy, would not believe that his son will just suddenly disappear from the cobbles. Even if he received a message from his son’s phone, ordering Teddy not to bother looking for him in the country, the patriarch feels that something is wrong.

Meanwhile, Jenny leaves Stephen anxious when she mentions the new information Teddy gathered about Leo. When the man steps foot in the pub, Teddy reveals that his son never landed in Canada and that the message he got from Leo’s phone came from Weatherfield.
