Tracy has done some investigating and even talked to a doctor to get all the facts about Oliver’s condition. She knows that there is no hope for the little boy, so she’s not going to allow Steve to sell both businesses. She feels for what Steve and Leanne are going through but puts her foot down when it comes to throwing their hard-earned money down the drain. So, she stops the quick sales.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Steve and Leanne are told that there is no hope for Oliver. He has also been rejected from the clinic due to them realizing how much Oliver had deteriorated. The hospital has told Steve and Leanne that there is no use in getting a second opinion because Oliver’s case is hopeless. The only reason he is still alive is that life support machines are keeping his organs functioning.

Leanne refuses to accept this and feels like the doctors are abandoning Oliver. She threatens to take it to court and according to Metro, she makes good on her threat.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Couple Split Up?

It is stated that Steve is very hurt by Tracy interfering with him trying to get money to help Oliver. Even though Oliver is technically already gone, Steve desperately wants to cling to any tiny sliver of hope. It is speculated that Tracy’s interference and the decision could end up destroying her relationship with Steve.

Could the couple actually break up over this and would Steve and Leanne get closer by bonding over their grief? Perhaps that is why Nick’s secret son and former flame were brought back during this time. We’ll have to see what happens with this storyline during the next few weeks.
