Coronation Street spoilers hint that the tone of Coronation Street will change in the episodes that will air after the production of the British soap starts back up. The tone of the British soap has been one that has been on the dark side with storylines dealing with abuse with Yasmeen and Geoff and revenge porn with Asha and Kelly. Sue Cleaver recently did an interview in which she talked about the recent tone of the show and the direction that the tone of the show will take after production starts back up.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Sue Cleaver Talks About Tone Of Show after Lockdown
Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen Grimshaw, on the British soap Coronation Street, recently did an interview with Inside Soap. During the interview, she hinted at there being a shift of the soap’s tone when they resume filming. As viewers know, the British soap has recently stopped production due to the Covid-19 virus that has been going around. She spoke about how she felt about filming scenes showing her character, Eileen Grimshaw, putting the world to rights with her mates at the pub.
She says that she hopes that there are more scenes like that in the future. In the interview, she stated, “I absolutely love those scenes. That’s one thing that’s changed, there’s not so many of those anymore, and I love them. I think seeing characters in situ, just talking about nonsense or having a moan is great. They are the classic Corrie scenes. I wonder whether, with this production gap and what’s happening, there will be more of that…”
Coronation Street Spoilers – Ian Weighs In On Future Of Soap After Lockdown
The actor who plays Geoff, Ian Bartholomew, has also put in his thoughts on the soap after production starts back up, “I think at the forefront of everybody’s mind at the moment is what happens after this is all over. What happens after lockdown? What happens when we get back to it? Because it will change. It will change the map of how we work and how we make the program because we’ll have to have social distancing. We’ll have to have smaller crews. And that’s the headaches that the writers and the producers and storylines have at the moment.”
