Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Summer Spellman may commit fraud as she tries to keep her miscarriage a secret. The teenager is thinking of taking 10 grand from the couple who plans to adopt her child once it’s born, despite the pair having no clue that she lost the baby.

Fans may recall that she agreed to give her baby to Mike Hargrave (Tom Lorcan) and Esther (Esther Hargrave) after giving birth. The couple already gave Summer and Aaron the initial payment, which they used to fund Aaron’s alcoholic father’s stay in rehab.

Summer also planned to hide her pregnancy from her family, so she decided to move away from Weatherfield. When Esther and Mike learn about her plans, they offer her to stay with them instead. Not only that, Esther promised to give her money earlier than scheduled.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to plan because Summer started to bleed. She was rushed to the hospital, and that is where they found out that she had suffered a miscarriage. Not only that, Aaron learned that his father had relapsed, and they needed more money for Eric’s further treatment.

Summer (Harriet Bibby) suggests that they hide the devastating news that she lost the baby. She just can continue to pretend that she’s still pregnant so they can keep the money that Esther and Paul. Then, Aaron (Aaron Sandford) can use the cash to get his father into rehab.

“I know I said I could do this for as long as it takes, but they’re good people,” Summer said. Aaron even suggested bringing his father home, so Summer doesn’t have to lie anymore. But Summer thinks otherwise. She believes that Aaron’s father needs more time to get treated, which is why she’s not telling the truth just yet.
