Coronation Street Spoilers: Tension Grow Between Glenda and Eileen

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that the tension between Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) and Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) will grow as the latter gets a job offer at the Bistro. Is Glenda planning to stay longer at the Cobbles?

Fans may recall that Glenda came to the Cobbles to take over George’s work at a funeral after he was unable to fulfill his job because he got high after taking strong painkillers to soothe his bad toothache.

She’s been in the cobbles for a month, and Eileen, George’s partner, gets more and more annoyed with Glenda because of her overbearing attitude. Upcoming scenes hint that Eileen will complain to George about his sister, and he promises to talk to her.

Eileen will also wonder how long Glenda plans to stay because she doesn’t like it when she’s around. Unfortunately, it seems like Glenda will be staying at the cobbles for a longer period. Glenda will be offered a job at the Rovers, which will definitely annoy Eileen.

Jodie Prenger Opens Up About Joining The Cast Of Coronation Street

Jodie Prenger, the actress behind the newcomer Glenda, considers landing a job at Coronation Street a dream come true.

“I know I sound like a soppy sod, but it’s been on my bucket list to be in Coronation Street since I was little,” she shared.

“It’s an honor, it truly is a very special moment in my life,” she continued.

“To be part of something my family and I have loved for so long. And what a character, oh I have to say, total dream part,” she added.
Coronation Street boss Iain MacLeod described Glenda as a character that “is loads of fun and has echoes of classic Coronation Street females of old.”

Coronation Street Spoilers: Kelly Learns About Laura’s Innocence

Next week, Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) will receive a package containing her mother’s belongings, which she left in Spain. She’ll find a digital camera, and when she checks the photos, she’ll discover that her mother was in Spain when her father died, which means it’s impossible for Laura to have committed the crime that she confessed to.

Kelly will immediately confront Gary Windass (Mikey North). But the question is if the latter will come clean and tell her the truth about his involvement in her father’s death.
