Coronation Street Spoilers: Tyrone Dobbs Admits Kissing Fiz Was A Mistake

Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveals mechanic Tyrone Dobbs found himself torn between fiancé Alina Pop and ex Fiz Stape as his entire world came crashing down around him because of the consequences of his choices.

Fans were confused when Tyrone leaned in to kiss ex Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) although the latter refused at first last Friday’s episode (August 20).

When Tyrone visited Fiz to find solace after his proposal blunder with Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) and Hope’s fate at the court, Fiz shared her despair about Hope and recalled all her efforts for her child were useless.

But Tyrone took the blame and said: “No, you’re right. This is all my family. You, Hope, the baby. Everything. I’ve just wrecked everybody’s lives.”

That’s when Fiz consoled him to his surprise and asked her how she could still care for him despite everything he’d done.

“I’ll always care about you, you plank. And even after everything we’ve been through, you’ll always care about me, I know you will. That’s what family is.”

Tyrone kissed Fiz but she hesitated and claimed it was a bad idea. “But none of this has been a good idea, wasn’t it?” she asked. “Me, the way I was, the way I reacted at the start,” Fiz continued.

But Tyrone hushed her by saying she’d done nothing wrong and the main problem was him. At that moment, the two shared a passionate kiss until Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) entered the flat.

But it looked like his intimate scene with Fiz was only caused due to the influence of alcohol as a sober Tyrone admitted to Kevin it was all a mistake. But was it really?

In the ITV soap’s Monday bill (Aug. 23), a guilt-stricken Tyrone confided in Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) about his kiss with Fiz.

“I’ve had a moment of madness,” Tyrone claimed in his tell-all. But Kevin slapped him with the truth, pointing out: “So you did the dirty on Fiz with Alina, and now you’re doing the dirty on Alina with Fiz.”

Tyrone’s answer left the fans annoyed when he justified it was only one kiss and everything was a mistake.

“I am totally committed to Alina,” Tyrone swore before rushing off to buy an engagement ring for Alina.

Returning to Alina’s flat, Tyrone presented his fiancé with a luxurious diamond ring and persisted: “I don’t care what it costs. You’re worth it, every penny.”

But aside from Kevin, Tyrone has to be careful around Alina’s flatmate Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) after she saw him and Fiz engaged in a deep discussion at the pub. Since then, she has been very suspicious of Tyrone and wasn’t convinced of his sincerity with the expensive ring.

Will she share her suspicions with Alina? Or will it be Kevin who will expose Tyrone’s secrets to Alina out of pity?
