ITV Coronation Street spoilers and updates for the week of June 1 reveal that one of Geoff Metcalfe’s (Ian Barthomelew) secrets comes out. After destroying evidence, he makes a shocking confession in court. However, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) is devastated when the monstrous abuser defeats her. On Monday’s episode of the ITV soap opera, the police come out to Yasmeen Metcalfe’s (Shelley King) residence. They force Alya to hand over the keys to Geoff. Since he is Yasmeen’s husband, then he has a right to stay in the home.

Corrie spoilers for June 1 reveal that once Geoff gets access to the home he shared with Yasmeen, he gets to work destroying evidence. He gets to his laptop and finds the footage from his last fight with Yasmeen. He deletes it but then is stunned when Tim Metcalfe (Jim Duttine) suddenly walks in. Will he come up with yet another creative explanation?

Finding Shona Platt

Coronation Street spoilers for Monday, June 1 also have David Platt’s (Jack P. Shepherd) searching for Shona Platt (Julia Goulding). Roy Cropper (David Neilson) finds Shona lurking around outside and urges her to come inside. She doesn’t recognize Roy, but goes ahead and enters the cafe. Later, everyone is relieved to find Shona with Roy and takes her back to the rehab center.

Coronation Updates – Dev Alahan’s Decision

In order to protect Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) from the striptease video that’s gone viral, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) makes a decision. He’s taking both of his children out of Weatherfield High School and transferring them to Oakhill.

Asha reluctantly agrees that maybe a fresh start in a place where nobody knows about the video might be a good idea. Tuition on top of the fees he is paying the reputation management company will destroy him. However, anything is worth it to help his daughter.

Geoff Metcalfe’s Courtroom Confession

Alya finds out that Geoff has been using escorts. She thinks they have a way to discredit Geoff and prove Yasmeen’s innocence. However, she is dismayed when finding out that her grandmother is pleading guilty.

Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) is disgusted that Geoff uses prostitutes and Tim doesn’t believe it. However, Geoff’s uncomfortable appearance reveals that it is all true. Realizing that it will come out in court, Geoff confesses to hiring hookers. However, the abuser claims he was forced to because Yasmeen denied him sex, per Digital Spy.

Now, the questions that remain are will police or the defense finds the deleted video footage? Pressing “delete” on a computer doesn’t permanently erase files, as some believe. Also, will the escort confession discredit Geoff, or will it just give Yasmeen motive? We will have to keep watching to find out.
