Corrie spoilers reveal that Leanne was relieved to hear from Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) after the drug raid. She reassured him that they had to arrest everyone, thinking that was what had him so upset. However, he told her that Harvey got away and swore he was going to kill Leanne. That moment came sooner rather than later. However, Harvey wasn’t able to do anything due to the police coming in just in time. He has now been arrested but don’t think this is the end of the story.

The Mirror reports that on Twitter, a fan asked Mellor if that was the last of Harvey on the ITV soap. The actor responded that it’s not that easy to get rid of him. That seems to corroborate what producer Iain MacLeod told multiple media outlets at the beginning of the year.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that the show boss talked about what to expect from Leanne after Oliver Battersby’s (Jeremiah and Emmanuel Cheetham) death. Back in January, he said that they had a big story for Leanne and Simon. He explained to Inside Soap magazine that Simon’s life would be in danger, it would involve several other characters, and was going to be a six-month storyline.

Harvey being cast was just announced two months ago and he arrived on the cobbles soon after that. So, we have quite a ways to go yet before the end of the six months.

What can we expect when Harvey returns? Well, he’s probably going to be all about revenge. Even though he has been arrested, a conviction is a different story. At one point, he mentioned to Leanne that he had a “legal team.” That indicates he doesn’t just have one lawyer on retainer, but a swarm of them. With that kind of legal backing, most criminals are able to avoid prison for quite some time. So, we will have to wait and see how Leanne and Simon are going to get out of this when Harvey comes looking for blood.
