Coronation Street Spoilers: Will Melor Returns As Harvey Gaskell

Will Melor Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Will Mellor is set to reprise his role as Harvey Gaskell. His character will appear in prison-based scenes, which are scheduled to air next week.

Leanne Battersby and Nick Tilsley will be shocked when they receive letters asking them to visit Harvey in prison. The pair initially agrees to ignore the prison visiting orders, but Leanne soon realizes that she needs to find out what Harvey wants.

In upcoming Corrie scenes, Leanne will lie to Nick and visits Harvey in prison alone. She’ll be surprised to learn that Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) has been sending him letters. Sam wants answers about the death of his mother Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac), and Harvey wants Leanne to make sure that Sam stops contacting him.

Later on, Leanne tells Nick that she visited Harvey and conveyed what she learned during their conversation. The pair confronts Sam about the letters he’s been sending and argues that he just wants to know why he murdered his mum. He promises to stop contacting Harvey if they allow him to visit him in prison.

Obviously, Leanne and Nick think it’s a bad idea, but Sam insisted that it’s not their choice to make and he’ll find a way to meet Harvey whether they like it or not. Sam tells Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) that he’s still writing to Harvey even though Nick told him not to. Hope is amused to learn that Sam is rebelling for once.

Will Harvey respond to Sam’s letters? He’ll receive a letter that contains questions about his violent past. What will he do?

Will Mellor, the actor who plays Harvey received a lot of hateful comments when news came out that he’s returning to Coronation Street.

“[Someone was saying] I shouldn’t be allowed to be in the show because after that first dance, you can see I’m obviously a trained dancer, which is absolute nonsense. But you know what it’s like on social media,” he shared.

“People are being positive and someone likes to throw a negative curveball and that’s the one that stands out,” he shared.
Viewers can expect to see more of Mellor in Coronation Street. Not only that, they can catch him on the current series of Strictly Come Dancing.
