Coronation Street Spoilers hint that Yasmeen Nazir (Shelly King) may have an STI due to Geoff Metcalfe’s (Ian Bartholomew) cheating ways. Yasmeen has been stuck in an abusive relationship with Geoff, who has been mentally and emotionally abusing her by manipulating her. However, things will escalate in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street as Geoff takes things to the next level of manipulation and abuse by starving Yasmeen and making her wear a prostitute dress for him while he ate in front of her. Things get worse as Yasmeen finds out the consequences to Geoff’s cheating ways and has to deal with the aftermath that she would be met with.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Yasmeen Nazir Learns Shocking News

The Actress who plays Yasmeen spoke about the diagnosis with the sexually transmitted infection. She began feeling unwell which led to her making an appointment with Dr. Gaddas (Christine Mackie). That is when a shocked Yasmeen tested positive for chlamydia.

The only thing to explain this would be that she got it from Geoff who had been sleeping with escorts which were discovered by Yasmeen when she looked through his computer. However, with the abuse that she has been through, she will wonder how she got the STI, and when she confronts Geoff about it, he blames her for getting it. Yasmeen said in her interview, “The thing is Dr. Gaddas told her that it could lie dormant for some time, so when Geoff says that about Sharif, she believes that could be the truth. It is a doubt in her mind that maybe she has been carrying it for years without knowing. Again, Geoff is cleverly playing on that.”
