Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) barricades herself in number 6, struggles to breathe, and collapses. Hospitalized with severe panic attacks, doctors say it’s from extreme stress. Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) wonders if Yasmeen will ever recover from the abuse. It seems that Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Barthomolew) is killing her from beyond the grave.

Corrie spoilers reveal that Alya and Yasmeen talk to the banker about Geoff’s deception and the massive debt he accumulated. There is nothing that can be done and Yasmeen is financially responsible. Suddenly, the stress sends Yasmeen’s mind into overdrive and when she looks at the banker, she sees Geoff. However, things just get worse from there. Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) inherited Geoff’s shares of the house and Speed Daal. He tries to transfer the property to Yasmeen, then that will give her a way to pay the debt collectors.

Extreme Stress

Suddenly, Yasmeen runs inside the house, locks the door, and builds a barricade. She won’t come out and will not let anyone in. While Alya tries to get inside, Yasmeen can’t catch her breath. Her head starts spinning and her mind is reeling. Just when Alya is able to get inside, Yasmeen collapses on the floor and is rushed to the hospital.

Coronation Street spoilers At the hospital, doctors tell Alya that Yasmeen had a severe panic attack, which was brought on by too much stress. They can give her medication and therapy, but Yasmeen refuses. This makes Alya concerned that her grandmother will never be able to fully recover. Despite the monstrous abuser being dead, he continues to torment Yasmeen from beyond the grave.

Turning Point

Even though fans might not like what Yasmeen is going through, the actress praised the story. She feels that it is important for people to realize that when the physical abuse stops, survivors are still dealing with the effects, sometimes for years afterward. However, it’s not all gloom and doom. Yasmeen will soon have a miraculous turning point and it’s all due to someone who understands exactly what she is going through. As previously reported, Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) is sticking around and will be fundamental to Yasmeen’s recovery.
