Coronation Street Star Ruxandra Porojnicu On Being Single: ‘I’m Open To Offers’

Coronation Street actress Ruxandra Porojnicu has talked about her romantic status, revealing she’s single and ready to mingle.

The celebrity had her debut in the ITV soap as Corrie’s Alina Pop involved in a human trafficking story in 2019. She was rescued with the help of the late Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) while their friendship was blossoming.

When her human traffickers were locked up in prison, Alina was rehabilitated by the Salvation Army, leaving fans broken to see her returning a year after, only to find Seb had moved on from her with Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell).

Corrie viewers first believed stars Harry and Ruxandra were dating off-screen as they were spotted hanging out together. However, it was later revealed that they had only shared celebratory meals after filming their part in the soap.

Coronation Street Spoilers – In A Recent Interview

Ruxandra’s recent interview with The Sun’s TV Magazine will have her admirers hopeful. The actress has spoken about her love life admitting: “I’m single and it’s OK.”

“I’ve been too busy lately to find someone,” she explained. “But I’m open to offers,” she teased.

“Sometimes we go out for a drink after work but it doesn’t happen often. When we do, we have such a good time,” she added.

The actress has also spoken about her family back home in Romania and how she makes her mom up to date with her life as a celebrity. She admitted her mom still can’t believe she’s on the cover of the magazines she sent her to.

“We don’t have Coronation Street in Romania, but I send mum clips from YouTube,” she revealed.

The 28-year-old actress is currently involved in an intense drama as a love triangle between the iconic couple Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine).

The beautician had a secret affair with the then engaged Tyrone earlier this year. The story has developed so much since then, with Alina recently miscarrying her child, Hope “getting off lightly” over a fire charge, and Tyrone cheating with his ex Fiz.

Her fans worry she has already wrapped up her scenes in the soap after the celebrity posted party snaps with the cast members in a Manchester restaurant earlier this month.

But fans need not fret as Ruxandra alongside Charlotte Jordan, who plays evil Daisy Midgely, is allegedly sticking in the soap for a long run.

The Sun reported earlier this year that an insider revealed the two stars were told to expect contract extensions when the time comes.

Ruxandra’s involvement with Tyrone is her second big storyline in the soap, and it is reported she’s lined up for plenty more.
