#1 Leanne Battersby & Steve McDonald Have Been On Pins And Needles Waiting To Take Oliver Home

This week beleaguered parents Leanne and Steve obtain more news about their young and sickly son Oliver. On an up note, the doctor tells Steve and Leanne that it is time to begin decreasing Oliver’s sedation.

After hearing the news Leanne sends Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) home for Oliver’s favorite toy, his red car. The hopeful mom thinks that it will be nice if her son has something familiar with him when he wakes up.

This optimistic moment is soon dashed however when the doctor delivers bad news. According to the physician treating Oliver, he may have suffered brain damage although it is too soon to tell what his condition will be when he wakes up. It is truly every parent’s nightmare and Leanne will be distraught and beside herself.

2) Shona Ramsey Comes Back To Town But Does Not Want David Platt Around When She Arrives

Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) will once again come back to the cobbles, but she doesn’t want David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) to be anywhere near her. Still, she visits Gail Platt (Helen Worth) and Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) although she is clearly still confused.

During one bright moment, she remembers where the tea bags are kept which leads to Gail being exhilarated by the revelation. The happiness is short-lived however as they discover that Shona has wandered off.

3) Is David Platt’s Life In Danger On The Cobbles?

Elsewhere David gets himself in trouble when he confronts a group of young people. Is his life in danger?

When David gets angry at the group he ends up pushing one of them. He is outnumbered and emotion soon enough gives way to sanity as he beats a hasty retreat.

Unfortunately, the group doesn’t kindly to his actions and take off after him.
