Dancing With The Stars: Carrie Ann Inaba Health Scare And Emergency Surgery Update

Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba revealed that she recently experienced a serious health scare and is recovering from emergency surgery.  What happened to the DWTS cast member?  Read on for all the details.  

In March 2023 Carrie Ann Inaba was rushed to the hospital for extreme stomach pain.  The 55 year old was shocked to learn that she had to have emergency surgery and underwent an emergency appendectomy. 

Since her scary ordeal the Dancing With The Stars judge has been sharing updates on social media and using her Instagram platform to spread awareness about appendicitis.

This week Inaba shared a video on Instagram along with this message to her loyal followers and DWTS fans, “I’ve been healing and I kind of do this thing where I’m up for four hours and feeling really good and then zonked out.  It’s part of the healing process. It’s sort of a wind-y road and I never know what’s coming next but I’ve decided to just surrender to it and go for broke with this healing process.”

Carrie Ann Inaba also wrote, “But I wanted to really thank you all for the messages for all the support. They touched me deeply and I do believe that everything is energy and so I do also believe that they help me heal. When you send good thoughts toward people it’s energy and that energy is transported and it shapes other people’s energy, and when we spread that kind of love, it’s very powerful so thank you so much.”
