One actor that had an interesting role many years ago was Dan Wells. The photo showed Wells and behind him was a shoebox. Now, this may seem insignificant. What is so important about a shoebox in a dressing room? Well, it’s not the box itself but what was written on it… “Stan.”

Wells played the role of Stan in 2005. The character was used to fill in for Sweeney while she went on maternity leave. The storyline was that Sami would use the male persona to tiptoe around town and get revenge on her enemies. Sami hasn’t used the male persona in many years, so why pull it out now? Well, drastic times call for drastic measures.

Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that Wells was wearing medical scrubs in his dressing room. So, Stan will either pose as a doctor or other medical professional. He just might be wearing scrubs so he can easily come and go throughout the hospital. Nobody is really going to question someone wearing scrubs going into a lab or an office at the hospital. So, Sami must be snooping around for information or evidence. Knowing she can’t get away with it without getting caught, Stan is used to help get the job done.

Sami returns this week and will immediately be Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) top suspect in the murder of Charlie Dale (Mike Manning). She is arrested and charged with the crime. We know that she tries to get Belle Black (Martha Madison) to be her lawyer, but she might say no due to her being the one to unleash a sociopath on Belle’s family.

It is teased that it won’t be obvious who the killer is in the beginning. It was explained by head writer Ron Carlivati that there would be many suspects and a lot of them look guilty at different times during the storyline. So, Sami is the first suspect but probably isn’t the real killer. But she could be protecting who did murder Charlie… such as her daughter, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Would she tamper with evidence sent to the hospital lab to make sure Allie couldn’t be connected to the crime? We will have to keep watching to find out!
