Coronation: Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) is moving way too fast in her new romance. She tells Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) that she loves her. Then, Asha begins to get possessive as she demands Nina spend all her time with her. It will scare her away, which leads to a confrontation about why she is avoiding the Alahan family.

Corrie spoilers reveal that at the beginning of the year, producer Iain MacLeod teased there would be a new romance for Nina. However, he warned that it would turn into a social issue and would eventually end in heartbreak. Soon after, it was confirmed that Nina’s romance would be with Asha. While it started out really well, it is already looking like there’s trouble ahead.

Next week, Asha will decide to tell Nina how she feels. Despite it being so early in the relationship, she admits that she’s in love. Even though she enjoys spending time with Asha and likes her, Nina feels it’s way too soon to be saying the “L” word. From there, things go from bad to worse.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Asha insists on spending all of her time with Nina. When she explains that she’s going bat watching with Roy Cropper (David Neilson), Asha invites herself along. She is told that it would be boring for her and it’s just something that Roy and her like to do together. Seeing her feelings are hurt, Nina reminds the teen that it’s healthy for each of them to pursue their own interests independently. It’s never a good sign when someone wants to spend every waking moment with another person. It’s especially worrisome this early in the relationship.

Later, Nina decides it would be best to skip the birthday party and asks to work at that time. When Aadi (Adam Hussain) finds out that Nina lied about having to work and that it was actually Nina’s choice, he confronts her. He doesn’t like seeing his sister confused and hurt. He demands to know why Nina is avoiding the Alahan family. What he doesn’t realize is that it’s not the family that Nina is distancing herself from. It’s Asha, who seems to go down a worrisome path.

Now, this doesn’t seem to be the social issue that the producer said would take place. We are also missing being judged by others for appearing a certain way, as well as several other characters getting involved in the story. So, it seems there is much more to tell and we will continue to see Nina and Asha navigate their new romance. However, something happens that rips them apart. To find out exactly what it is, we will have to keep watching the ITV soap.
