Owen Saxon Days of Our LivesDays of Our Lives has cast Owen Saxon as Stefano Dimera/Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) guard outside his Salem version of Maison Blanche. Saxon can be seen in an interesting scene with Abby Dimera (Kate Mansi) and Anna Dimera (Leanne Hunley).

Days star Owen Saxon’s character may have met a bit more than he bargained for when he tried to keep the two Dimera women from saving the only two decent Dimera men. It seems that the guard thought he could keep Anna and Abby from getting into the newly built mansion.

Unfortunately for the character, he didn’t anticipate Anna’s stiletto to be so powerful. After having Abby distract the guard, Anna promptly chose to knock him out with a shoe. Anna and Abby left him lying by the gate where the police will probably pick him. Perhaps Stefano should have paid him hazard pay.

Days Saxon’s most recent role was as Luke Undervoy on NCIS. Saxon also had a short term role at ABC’s General Hospital where he played Shawn Phillips, the gunman who kidnapped Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to lure Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to search for her.

It was later revealed that Nicolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was behind the kidnapping and Cassandra Pierce’s (Jessica Tuck) release. Acting was not Saxon’s first choice of careers, however, he couldn’t resist the draw to acting and has appeared in other TV series like Lethal Weapon and Shooter. He also appeared in films A Christmas Cruise and Toxic Shark.

Days’ Saxon had aspirations of becoming a literary agent in the entertainment industry but the pull of acting was too strong to resist. Saxon was raised by an actress who turned agent. Saxon went to business school before turning to an acting career but with his sticking good looks, he couldn’t go wrong. Everyone loves a handsome man and he is very good at being bad. Saxon’s stature and appearance make him a great candidate for the looming bad guy in any scene. His godfatherish presence makes for a very convincing bad guy.

Saxon fell in love with acting but didn’t pursue it originally because of the challenges with longevity in the industry. Saxon credits an interview with Robert DeNiro for changing his mind about acting. Supporters describe Saxon as motivated, passionate, and determined. Fans, however, might use words like sexy, good-looking and good as being bad.

Could the guard stay on to work at the Dimera mansion or is Saxon’s run at Days already over? Fans can only hope to keep this handsome guy around a while.
