NBC Days of our Lives spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is resisting the brainwashing that Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) subjected him to. She is losing patience with his reluctance to kill new bride Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). Now explosive show spoilers reveal that Ben could strike but not at the intended target. He keeps getting pumped full of weird drugs and goes blank around Ciara, and all of this is according to plan.

This shows he is not himself, he just hasn’t pulled the trigger or knotted the tie, yet.

#1 The Brainwashing He Was Given Somehow Goes Awry And He Kills Someone Other Than Ciara Brady

Ben has been affected by the brainwashing and torture he was subjected to there is no doubt about that. His brain probably resembles Swiss cheese right about now if his intense stares with no emotion behind them, and affinity for ligatures are any indication.

Therefore it is just a matter of time before he acts on his unconscious impulses. Sadly for Eve, this means she might not make it out of Salem in a couture outfit but in a body bag.

#2 He Does It To Save Ciara Brady

Ben has shown incredible love for Ciara. His mind is telling him to kill her but his heart is saying no. Because of this a very frustrated Eve could take matters into her own hands and try to kill Ciara herself in order to cause Ben the pain that she wants him to feel.

If Ben came upon such a scene, he would not hesitate to save his wife. Would he kill Eve if it meant saving Ciara? Most definitely. Of course, there would then be a whole other kettle of worms to deal with but at least Ciara would not be dead.

#3 He Returns To Form As The Necktie Killer And Kills Eve Donavan With Silky Neckwear

What if Ben spontaneously pops back into his old persona, kind of like a disjointed finger only this time it’s his brain that is dislocated? After all of that trauma, he went through at Eve’s hands, PTSD is a distinct possibility and it might lead him to repeat his old patterns of killing.

Who better to take his anger out on than the one who put him through Hades? Ben just might kill Eve of his own free will, albeit one that he thought was dead and buried.
