DOOL spoilers reveal that Philip flew into Salem and shocked Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) with his sudden return. However, he didn’t get what he wanted and had to share the CEO position with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). The two corporate executives are battling each other and Xander went to the extreme of enlisting Jan Spears’ (Heather Lindell) help. She filed an official police complaint on Philip, which led to Shawn arresting him for threatening Jan. When Belle heard about the arrest, she immediately decided to take Philip’s case.

DOOL Spoilers – Shawn Brady’s Insecurity

Now, there is a lot of history between Shawn, Belle, and Philip. When “Shelle” was planning to divorce, Philip and Belle slept together. Then, the estranged couple got back together. However, their reconciliation got complicated when Shawn learned that Belle cheated on him with Philip. Since then, they have overcome their issues and are in a good place.

But when Philip arrived in Salem, Shawn started being reminded of the past. So, he’s not excited about Belle spending any time with Philip… including defending him in court.

Even though he has his own issues with Victor — and planned on destroying Titan himself not that long ago — Brady won’t accept Philip’s proposal.

Brady and Belle have been interacting more recently. So, we expect Brady to confide in Belle about what Philip is planning. When Belle learns about Philip’s sinister revenge scheme, she could drop his criminal case.

It’s nothing personal… but Belle judges people by their actions. The fact that Philip is intentionally trying to hurt his grandfather will not sit well with Belle. It also shows her what kind of person Philip is these days and she could wipe her hands clean of him.
