DOOL spoilers reveal that Ben and Ciara had no idea that the devil was after their unborn child until it was nearly too late. Even though Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) tried to warn the couple, Ben bought into everything “MarDevil” was telling him about John Black (Drake Hogestyn). Ciara was a bit more suspicious, though.

Eventually, John and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) worked together to save Marlena’s life and soul. Everyone thought that they were successful as the devil seemed to flee from Marlena’s body. It is teased that everyone is going to start to realize that Johnny isn’t acting like himself. In Salem, there are two possibilities when people aren’t acting as they should. It’s either Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) or one of her partners in crime wearing a mask or it’s the devil.

Although Kristen, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) are playing with masks, Johnny isn’t being impersonated. Johnny is possessed by the devil.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that head writer Ron Carlivati spoke about February sweeps with Soap Opera Digest. The scribe teased that “CIN” will realize that the devil isn’t gone as they thought.

“They are really starting to plan a future, and look for a bigger place where they’re going to start their family. And then something happens and they start to suspect that the devil may not be as gone as they thought. So they are again worried about the safety of their unborn baby and they start to investigate the possibility that the devil is back.”
