Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that the soap is currently planning a way to honor the memory of actor Bill Hayes (Doug Williams).
While he passed away in January 2024, due to the show’s filming schedule, they have yet to address his death on the daytime drama.
Based on some behind-the-scenes news, it seems like Doug’s passing and funeral episodes will be filmed very soon. Here’s what we know about his DOOL tribute so far.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Two Massive Character Returns
DOOL spoilers hint that two major old-school characters are about to hit Salem. According to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) Another World alum, Stephen Schnetzer will reprise his Steve Olson role – Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) brother. Looks like Steve will be there for Julie when she needs it most.
In addition, Diedre Hall (Marlena Evans) recently informed SOD that actress Gloria Loring is set to come back, reprising her fan-favorite character from the 1980s, Liz Chandler.
DOOL Spoilers – More To Come …
The fact that the soap is bringing back so many characters from the far distant past, shows just how committed they are to ensuring this tribute is as special as possible. But what about Doug’s daughter, Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso)? It won’t feel like a proper goodbye, without her.
Still, as her husband Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) is in a coma, and Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) is in rehab, she may have to hang back to watch over them.
Then again, Shawn, Hope, and Bo could return together, possibly along with Belle Brady (Martha Madison), which would create a massive buzz for Days’ viewers, as this would mean that Bo has finally woken up, and moving on with things. Only time will tell.
If the Brady foursome does return, the show is likely waiting to drop the big news on viewers, so, fans need to stay tuned!
