Days of Our Lives (DOOL) actor, Freddie Smith (Sonny Kiriakis) has announced his upcoming wedding date to his longtime partner, Alyssa Tabit.

On their usual podcast episodic called The Freddie & Alyssa show on YouTube, the couple revealed that while they don’t have an exact location for their nuptials their plan is to tie the knot on May 5, 2021. The episodes of their podcast are also available on iTunes. The couple is also hard at work on a new film called Unplugged to be released in the near future.

DOOL News: Freddie Smith And Alyssa Tabit Set A Wedding Date!

Smith and Tabit have been dating since 2011. The revealed their engagement in 2018. Smith released a video that documented everything that happened as he planned a surprise proposal to his fiancé, Alyssa Tabit. He revealed that he convinced Samba Sol to do a photoshoot with the company and the company’s products. Smith gained access to a romantic location in Malibu where he proposed to his longtime girlfriend without her realizing what was going to happen. The fun moment included her parents, friends and other family members.

In a previous interview with Soap Opera Digest Smith told them, “Some time by the end of summer we’re going to get engaged. We’ll be planning our wedding for the summer or fall of 2019. We went ring shopping together, she picked out what she wanted, but she’s not going to know anything else.”

Days Of Our Lives Star Met Alyssa 10 Years Ago!

The couple first met at a Dirty Disney party back in February 2010. Tabit was dressed as Ariel but was dating someone else at the time. Smith and Tabit became friends while dating other people on and off until the summer of 2011 when they became an official couple.

Smith noted, “After chasing her month after month, we finally tied the knot [figure of speech]. She moved in 3 weeks later and we’ve been together ever since. She is my love, my life, my soul mate, my business partner, my light, my everything and more than anything she is what she has been since 2010 – my very best friend.”
