Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) will try to trick Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) into returning Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) money in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Xander Cook Was Released, But His Money Wasn’t!

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that although Xander himself was released and the charges were dropped against him, his money wasn’t! He and District Attorney Trask had quite the little go round in the Salem Police Department, where she wouldn’t return his money. He could have the briefcase back if he wanted, but she demanded that the money go to her, to fund a legal defense fund for undocumented immigrants, and she threatened to blow Gwen’s life sky high by telling Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) the truth about Gwen miscarrying before she fell down that flight of stairs!

But as Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, that was already happening – and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was the one who made it happen, and successfully ensured that Gwen would never have a father-daughter relationship with Jack again! Jack was livid about the lie, and Gwen wept on Xander’s shoulder when she told him about it when he returned from the Salem Police Department.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Melinda Trask No Longer Has Any Leverage Over Xander Cook And His Money

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that the one million dollars in cash came from Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) who had paid Xander to blow up Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) marriage in a very public way! Then EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) wanted the million dollars and Xander couldn’t get it back because it was evidence in Bonnie Lockhart’s (Judi Evans) case.

So, EJ reinstated Xander’s charges and there he was back in jail! But as Days of Our Lives viewers know, since Abigail already busted Gwen, that takes away Melinda’s leverage over Xander – and his money! When Gwen hears what Xander sacrificed for her and about Melinda’s blackmail, she knows that she has to try to get his money back from her! Besides, it’s only a matter of time before Jack tells Xander and her that they have to find another place to stay, and neither one of them has a job – how will they support themselves? That one million dollars would go a long way!

Days of Our Lives viewers will see Gwen go to confront Melinda about Xander’s money, but then will be forced to resort to trickery! Days of Our Lives viewers know that Melinda wants that money whether it be for altruistic purposes or not, and Gwen knows that when she refuses to return it it’s not about what she claimed it would be! Gwen also knows that even though what the disgruntled District Attorney did wasn’t exactly taking a bribe, there has to be something unethical about it.

Trask just simply isn’t going to turn over that money, and she has all the power! Gwen begins plotting – and comes up with a plan! Since this money is supposedly going to help undocumented immigrants, she’ll create an undocumented immigrant who needs the money, and see if Trask forks it over – if she doesn’t respond to the request, then she’s got her over a barrel!
