DOOL spoilers reveal that Gwen agreed not to tell anyone, including the police, about Jennifer hitting her with a car. However, that all changed when Jack ordered Gwen to testify against Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Gwen refused, which meant the end of her relationship with her father, Jack.

In relation, Gwen, Xander and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) blackmailed Jack and Jennifer. Unless they handed over The Spectator, then everyone would find out about Jennifer hitting Gwen with the car while high on pain pills. Jack and Jennifer decided to give Gwen what she wanted and left Salem to focus on their other newspaper.

Soon after acquiring The Spectator, Gwen realized it was a lot of hard work. Gwen is concerned about turning a profit and readership. However, she also knows that it has to be balanced with being a legitimate news source.

However, Leo is always pushing the envelope. In fact, Gwen shut down Leo’s recent idea for Lady Whistleblower’s next column. Despite shutting down Leo’s idea about Xander and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), Gwen could have a change of heart.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – The Spectator Sued?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Gwen and Leo could go too far. When they publish a story about Xander and Chloe, it could backfire. Right now, Chloe seems to be on civil terms with Leo and Xander. While Xander might not double-cross Chloe, Leo would in a heartbeat. So, this is a risky association, especially for a good girl like Chloe.

If Gwen targets Chloe, though, things could spiral out of control. That could lead to Chloe taking action by suing The Spectator for publishing lies.

Gwen might not have a chance to win the lawsuit. Gwen might realize that she isn’t fit to run the newspaper. However, she could get an olive branch.
