NBC Days of our Lives spoilers tease that the Hernandez family is being eliminated from Salem right now, with two members exiting during a very emotional Friday cliffhanger. That of course will change, as we now know. But what are the odds that another Hernandez family member comes back to Salem, one we haven’t seen in a long, long, time? The family is huge, but one member was recently referenced.

The status of Hernandez family actors Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) and Galen Gering (Rafe Hernandez) have been the subject of much discourse lately and there is no reason to believe that a different Hernandez family member could be back to Salem. Is Jordi Vilasuso set to return as Dario Hernandez?

Days of our Lives spoilers – Gabi Hernandez is over but not out in Salem

Almost as soon that it was announced that Camila Banus was out as Gabi Hernandez, it was then announced that she will be back on set when the show returns to production in September. It will be fun to see how Gabi reacts to Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) after she slept with him and dumped him in less than a couple of hours’ time! Better yet, how will Jake respond to the tempting vixen when she returns from visiting her, “sick mom?”

Rafe Hernandez and his sister Gabi were practically kidnapped by their bad boy dad Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) when the former convict came to town and told them they must flee with him because their lives were in danger from his enemies. Apparently he didn’t get the rehab message in prison.
Gabi was not convinced and spoke to her brother Dario Hernandez (formerly portrayed by Jordi Vilasuso) who confirmed the story.

Dario told Gabi that he was already attacked and the threat is real. Why bring Dario into this unless the character could be about to return? Right now Vilasuso is on CBS’s The Young and the Restless. But his romance with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) looks to be wrapping up and the character has been a controversial presence since his debut.

It would be perfect to have Gabi come back from danger with this bad boy brother in tow. Is the stage being set for Dario to come back to Salem?
