So, let’s discuss what could happen as Shawn wrestles with shooting his own father to protect Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Shawn Brady’s Guilt

DOOL spoilers reveal that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) didn’t tell the truth about Bo to Hope. So, when Hope went to the villa and saw Bo, she rushed into his arms. The only problem was that Bo is still affected by Megan Hathaway’s (Miranda Wilson) brainwashing. At the time, Bo was still dangerous, and Hope could have been shot.

After Harris told Shawn the truth, he went to protect Hope from an unhinged Bo. When Shawn pulled the trigger, he thought he was preventing Hope from being killed. What Shawn didn’t realize until after he shot Bo was that Hope was getting through to her “dead” husband. Even though Bo’s heart stopped, he was saved. The only issue is that Bo now lies in a coma, and it’s not known when he will wake up… if ever.

DOOL Spoilers – Ciara Brady Weston’s Concern

Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will try to console Shawn. Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) also assured Shawn that Bo’s coma wasn’t his fault. However, there are hints that Shawn will continue to wrestle with his guilt.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Hope Brady’s Confusion

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of May 1 reveal that Harris urges Shawn not to blame himself for Bo’s condition. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) makes an insensitive comment about Shawn and Bo’s situation. That leads to Belle Brady (Martha Madison) punching EJ in the face.

There will also be a scene of Steve reacting badly when he is forced to work with Harris in Greece. So, it sounds like Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) might want proof that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) is really dead.

Meanwhile, Hope could be confused about what to do next, especially with Bo alive but in a coma.

Back to Shawn, he will continue to deal with this guilt. So, it sounds like this could be an opening for a mental health storyline. JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) felt tremendous guilt after accidentally shooting Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). Abe Carver (James Reynolds) was unforgiving for a while. At least, until Christmas, when JJ nearly committed suicide.
