Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godrey) miraculously turns up in Salem during the week of January 17. Coincidentally, that is the same week Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) knocks out Steve  Johnson (Stephen Nichols). Could Kristen impersonate Steve and convince Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to abandon the mission?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Steve Johnson Knocked Out

DOOL spoilers reveal that Steve left Kayla at the Italian convent. The plan is for Kayla to search the convent for clues leading to information about Kristen. However, “Stayla” doesn’t realize that Kristen is one step ahead of them. While Kayla is pretending to be a nun, Steve walks into his hotel room to find a familiar face. It’s none other than Kristen and she threatens him with a gun.

Steve is able to talk Kristen out of killing him, but she doesn’t believe he will stay quiet about her location. Kristen finds herself cornered and starts to panic. Desperate to not return to prison, Kristen knocks Steve out.

DOOL Spoilers – Another Impersonation

After Steve is knocked out cold, Kayla sends him a text message. She gets a response indicating that everything is just fine. What Kayla doesn’t realize is that it’s not Steve texting her back, but Kristen. This might not be the only way Kristen impersonates Steve, though.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Kristen might have pretended to be Steve in a text message so Kayla wouldn’t worry. However, what will she do with Steve’s body? We know that Steve is still alive, which means it’s not murder. However, Steve will report to the police that he was attacked by Kristen.

The only place Kristen could hide is in the Italian convent and now that’s not possible due to “Stayla. Kirsten doesn’t want to kill anyone at the moment. She just wants to be left alone and for the search to be called off.

DOOL Spoilers – Abandoning Mission

The only way she can make that happen is by convincing Kayla to return to Salem and giving Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) a good cover story. “Steve” could claim that Kristen got away or there is no trace of the fugitive in Italy. “Steve” might even claim that Kristen is dead or in an Italian prison. Of course, authorities would double check that information, but Kristen never thinks that far ahead. She is a desperate woman, though, and desperate people are dangerous.

This might explain how “Sarah” returns to Salem in the upcoming week. Will Kristen go back to impersonating multiple people in Salem? Who will she impersonate next? Will it be Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) so she can be with Brady and Rachel DiMera (Finley Rose Slater) again?
