‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers Thursday, May 8: Hospital Buyer Rejected, Abe Returns, Cat’s Free Pass

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, May 8, 2025, are here! In tomorrow’s episode, fans can expect Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) to reject EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) offer.

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) consoles Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens). Plus, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) gives Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) a free pass.

EJ DiMera’s Hospital Offer

In tomorrow’s episode, fans will see Kayla respond to EJ’s outrageous offer. Kayla thought EJ wanted to make a donation.

However, EJ clarified that he wanted to buy the hospital. The chief of staff knows that EJ can’t be trusted and doesn’t do anything out of the kindness of his heart.

Kayla also might worry about the greedy, self-serving decisions EJ would make as the owner of the hospital. So, she will tell him no.

Abe Carver Returns

Fans will also see Abe, who shows up to console Chanel. Fans know that Chanel is completely heartbroken and devastated over the failed adoption.

Just when JANEL finally got Amy Choi’s (Shi Ne Nielson) approval, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) suddenly decides he can’t be a parent after all.

Chanel, in part, blames EJ and did blast him. Next, Abe comforts an emotional Chanel. Abe will likely have some words of wisdom for her, too.

Marlena Evans’ Guidance

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that while Chanel is getting support from Abe, Johnny opens up to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) again. Marlena will try to help Johnny as best she can. However, this is a complicated situation.

Meanwhile, Cat gives Chad a free pass.

Fans will also see Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) to prepare for their holiday. However, a weekly preview clip shows Sarah noticing the treat she’s eating tastes different. As Sarah tries to pull it out of her mouth, Xander suddenly leaps up and yells for someone to call 911.

Is this a case of accidental food poisoning, or could Sarah have been poisoned? In any case, Sarah’s big weekend getaway will be ruined by her hospital stay. That means there are more opportunities for Sarah’s secret to get out. Sarah might even wonder if the food poisoning was some sort of karmic warning from the universe.

Sarah is going to need to confess soon or she could lose Xander forever.
