Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Xander is flat broke and Nicole has money! The two got plastered drunk out of their minds and had a one-night stand in a recent episode of Days of Our Lives and Nicole regrets it greatly! She had become frustrated that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) had again accepted a mission of several months – well, three months – in Africa. But that was the third or fourth time of standing Nicole up at the last minute, and she is not only tired of it, she thinks Eric is making excuses. He’d rather be in Africa than be with her and they were just barely married after all those years of trying to get married and the circumstances not working out!

Nicole is beyond frustrated and that is what led to her getting drunk that night and Xander just happened to be convenient – a little too convenient! Xander realizes that what happened between him and Nicole could be convenient for him in a financial way – he doesn’t know how to contact Eric and doesn’t care, but there is someone that he could tell that Nicole would care about if he knew and that is Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering)! Xander has been out of work for enough time that his funds are running out, and he has to find some way to get some cash flow. Nicole is making plenty of money at Basic Black and he wonders if his silence would be worth some of it!

DOOL Spoilers – Without Sarah Horton, Xander Kiriakis Is Reverting To His Old Wicked Ways

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that without the influences of Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and her mother Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), Xander has been reverting to his old wicked ways! He even took a job that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) offered him to take out Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) and Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) who she had imprisoned in the DiMera wine cellar. But Sami offered twice whatever Kristen was going to pay him to kill the two of them, and he had no loyalties to Kristen, so he took Sami up on her offer! At least it was enough to catch up on his bills for a bit but financially, it was only a band-aid so he has to find some money source that will last a lot longer until he can get something a little more steady!

Nicole has a steady source of income and it’s plenty so Xander decides to see if she’ll pay him for his silence – she certainly wouldn’t want Rafe to know that she cheated on Eric, although Eric might find out anyway from Sami. Days of Our Lives viewers know that Nicole has her eyes on Rafe although she denies it – and Xander threatens to tell him about their stolen night and offers her his silence for payment. He may mention telling Sami although he probably didn’t but if Nicole thinks Sami knows it will certainly sweeten the pot! Nicole might just be scared and guilty enough to comply!
