Days of Our Lives: Victoria Konefal on Quarantine Entertainment, ‘Embracing The Wait’, Execution Scenes, And IronMan

Days of Our Lives actress Victoria Konefal, who plays Ciara Brady recently spoke to Digital Journal about several topics. The soap star explained how she keeps entertained during quarantine and the adrenaline of shooting Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) execution scenes. Konefal also talked about the current chapter of her — and everyone else’s life — which she calls, “embracing the wait.”

The DOOL cast member is finding creative ways to fill her time at home, like many of her co-stars. Everyone has different ways of coping. For Konefal, she has been reading, watching TV shows and movies, as well as spending a lot of time with her dog.

She added that there is plenty of time to discover new ways to entertain herself. Always one to look on the bright side, she calls figuring out new quarantine entertainment a fun and challenging opportunity.

Right now, all anyone can really do during the coronavirus crisis is wait. That is exactly what Konefal is doing, but she always tries to be optimistic about things. That includes the quarantine during the pandemic. She calls the chapter of this portion of her life “embracing the wait.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers previously teased that Konefal’s character, Ciara Brady, would save Ben from the lethal injection. When filming those scenes, the actress explained that she gave it everything she had. Even though the scenes were strenuous and it was a long day, she enjoyed it because she knows that she did a good day’s work. As for working with Robert Scott Wilson during the execution scenes, she praised her co-star,

“We all did it collectively. It was a huge group effort. I needed to have someone to react off of, and the situation was so crazy that I completely immersed myself in the process of filming that. It was 100 percent adrenaline keeping me through.”

As for future challenges, the actress said that if she were to compete in a track and field competition, it would be the IronMan Triathlon. She explained,
