In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Laura said, “We were hiking Runyon Canyon a couple of weeks ago, and coming down the mountain we were laughing so hard that I was like, ‘People must want to push us down this hill!’ And he’s not hard to look at [laughs]. He’s amazing. I’m thrilled to share this part of my life with him.”

Speaking to Soaps.com in an interview, Laura puts it this way, “Most of Carly’s manipulation stems from trying to keep a secret, trying to cover a secret, but it always usually comes from her protection of love. It’s not that she’s usually wrong, she’s wrong how she goes about it.”
