Everything To Know About General Hospital Star Maurice Benard’s 4 Kids

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Sonny Corinthos’s life is filled with turmoil right now; however, the character’s portrayer, actor Maurice Benard, is nothing like the dangerous mob boss he plays on TV.

In addition to his role on the soap, he also hosts “State of Mind”, a podcast that focuses on mental health. At home, he enjoys family time with his wife Paula, and their four children.

General Hospital Spoilers – Like Father, Like Son

GH fans are familiar with one of Benard’s children, his son and the youngest in the family, Joshua James Benard, who recently had a run on the show playing Adam Wright.

At the age of 17, Joshua stepped into the role in 2022 and just recently wrapped up his time in Port Charles.

In fact, in early January of this year, Joshua was on Maurice’s “State of Mind” and noted that his dad had been giving him some acting tips along the way. Not only does Joshua act, but he’s also a musician.

Maurice and Paula’s three oldest children are all girls, and it’s clear how proud he is of his daughters.

His firstborn is Cailey Sofia, a graduate of the University of San Diego, who is also married (Maurice officiated their wedding in 2020).

Meanwhile, the actor is very proud of his second daughter, Cassidy Rose, sharing a social media clip in 2022 about her, posting, how she has a “sweet nature” and “not a mean bone in her body”. Fun fact, Cassidy’s boyfriend helps Benard with editing his State of Mind podcast videos!

Then there is their third daughter, Heather Rose, who is Paula’s half-sister. Maurice and his wife adopted Heather in 2008 when she was 15 years old, after their mother’s passing.

In 2023, Maurice was on the Tamron Hall Show when Heather showed up on stage, wearing her Air Force uniform, prompting him to get quite emotional.

While Sonny Corinthos is quite the family man, it looks like he doesn’t hold a candle to Maurice Benard. His kids may be all grown up now, but he also gets to enjoy the fun of having littles running around through his grandchildren, Eloise, Tiana (TT), and Milo.
