General Hospital Alum Ryan Paevey Experiences Air Travel Nightmare

When General Hospital alum and Hallmark star Ryan Paevey was recently traveling, he had “no clue” how he was getting home. In fact, he was the victim of the current flight chaos affecting much of this world. It is even unclear whether he ever did get home.

General Hospital Alum And Hallmark Star Ryan Paevey Has Travel Problems

Anyone who is trying to travel right now will immediately have sympathy with Hallmark star Ryan Paevey. Flights are regularly being canceled or delayed, due to staffing shortages, bad weather, fuel costs and other problems. Naturally, this doesn’t just happen to the average traveler, but also to television and movie stars.

In fact, General Hospital alum Ryan Paevey was one of these when he was stranded at Toronto Pearson International Airport yesterday.  Paevey took to Twitter in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 7, to explain his frustration.

In Ryan’s tweet, he wrote, “Not sure I’ve ever had a worse experience trying to travel,” adding, “It’s almost enough to never return to your city. Still no clue how I’m getting home.”

Hallmark Channel Films And Series Filmed In Canada

Many fans are away that most of Hallmark’s movies are filmed in Canada, where Paevey could have just wrapped yet another project. Obviously, if he is serious about never returning to Toronto, this would mean the actor might leave Hallmark. However, as the actor was clearly angry and venting at the time, he was likely just threatening.

Meanwhile, as can be seen from the responses to Ryan’s tweet, some of his followers shared their own bad travel experiences. Moreover, it was clear that this isn’t just happening in Canada or the USA.  In fact, one follower wrote, “Sounds a lot like Melbourne airport here in Oz [Australia].” In fact, judging from the headlines, many flights across Europe are also being canceled and delayed.

Another wrote, “Was just talking with someone about this. Said Pearson has gotten so bad that they now fly into Buffalo, New York and drive in from there.”

Moreover, Paevey didn’t just stop with that tweet. He later wrote, “Miraculous that I’m sitting in San Francisco with time to eat.”

 Hey @united wanna explain to me why my seat was given away this morning despite arriving nearly three hours early to downed check in terminals and indifferent agents?

An hour later, the General Hospital alum wrote once again, complaining to United about a gate agent giving his seat to someone who didn’t pay for his seat. He added that they categorized him as being late, asking, “How is 3 hours early considered late?”

Congrats to the traveler who got my seat, but I’m still not home, and would like to [know] wtf is going on here.

We can only hope that the Hallmark star did eventually get home safely.
