General Hospital News: Ingo Rademacher Teases Jax’s Return

Jasper “Jax” Jacks is on his way back to Port Charles, and actor Ingo Rademacher gave a small update about his comeback to “General Hospital.”

In an Instagram post, Ingo shared a photo of himself in front of the General Hospital studio.

“Won’t be long now,” he wrote. He shared that he just finished fitting and teased that Jax will have a brand new look. He also revealed that he will begin filming next week, although there is no word yet of his first airdate. “Can’t wait!” he added.

Jax was last seen in Port Charles in April 2017. It was the time when he brought the sad news to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that Lady Jane (the late Barbara Tarbuck) passed away. He also confessed to Carly (Laura Wright) that he bought Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) kidney for Josslyn, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) found another reason to make him leave town.

In February, Rademacher announced the exciting news that Jax is coming back and teased that “Jax’s legacy is going to continue in a big way.”

What trouble could he stir up once he is back? Carly and Sonny, who have been a super couple on GH, are expecting a child, and Jax’s return could shake things up for them. In his teaser, Rademacher was watching the scene when Jax kissed Carly goodbye and walked away.

Then the camera revealed that it was Ingo who was watching the scene. “Oh, come on. That can’t be the end,” he said.

Knowing GH’s shooting time-frame, fans can expect to see Jax in Port Charles towards the end of April or in early May.

Ingo debuted the role of Jax in 1996. He left briefly in 2000 and returned in 2001 until 2011. He has made recurring appearances since then.

While he was absent from General Hospital, Rademacher was portraying Thorne Forrester on the Bold and the Beautiful. He booked the role in November 2017. However, towards the end of December last year, it was revealed that Rademacher was leaving B&B. His character annulled his marriage to Katie Logan (Heather Tom) on Valentine’s Day, leaving her devastated.

Rademacher’s other credits include Titans, Hawaii Five-0 and Alex Cross.
