Who says that Shiloh Archer is the most despised man in daytime television? Well, actually that might be true for some people, but it looks like there are plenty of fans who still love the character’s portrayer, General Hospital star Coby Ryan McLaughlin. As a matter of fact, the actor couldn’t help but show the world that yes, he does have a pretty big fan base as they came out in droves to see him during a recent General Hospital fan event. Here’s what you need to know.

Even though there have been fans who have sent Coby rather disturbing messages in the past (all because they despise Shiloh), there was nothing but love for the actor this past weekend. Sharing a pic of many General Hospital viewers, Coby wrote, “Thank you to all these beautiful peeps that came to say how much they loved to hate me. I’ve never loved being hated so much.”
A lot of Coby’s fans commented on his post with, “You’re a great actor. Wish people would quit with the hate,” along with, “You are a great actor. Being a bad boy is easy for you I guess. I’d like to see you on GH in a nice guy part. Keep on going with your magic.”

General Hospital News – Coby Makes Us Hate Shiloh Even More
Another fan wrote, “The sign of a good actor. If they hate you then you play that part well. I look forward to seeing Shiloh on the screen. So I can see what is going to do now to make us hate him more.”
We have to agree with Coby’s social media followers that he is one heck of a good actor to have so many people think that he really is as evil as his character, Shiloh Archer. Needless to say, that couldn’t be any further from the truth! Not only does Coby have great talent, but he’s also a wonderful, compassionate person who loves his fans. We have a feeling that we will be seeing so much more of him in future projects as well!

No I am not a fan of his character. I think he carries it over onto this interview. He thinks he is good and bragging about it so his character is rubbing oft
Nope. He’s as arrogant as his character. Please kill off this despicable character ASAP. There really is no reason to keep a predator on the loose for the sake of a “story” that we don’t want to see.
Last month he was in a Christmas in July movie on Hulu, it was called Married before Christmas, I think. I couldn’t enjoy the movie cause all I kept seeing when he was on screen was Shioh.
Coby is a remarkable actor. I’ve seem him in several movies and enjoyed him in all of them. That said, Shiloh is a despicable character and Coby plays him to perfection. That is the actor in the man. People need to learn how to separate the character from the actor and cut with the hate.
