General Hospital Recap & Spoilers Monday, May 25: Nurse’s Ball 2014 – Obrecht Crashes The Party, Red Carpet Chaos, Relationship Drama

Welcome to your Monday May 25th General Hospital recap – we begin our day on the red carpet where a Tv host is giving a sneak preview of what is to come at the 2014 General Hospital Nurse’s Ball. In her apartment we see Britt Westmore (Kelly Thiebaud) eating ice cream and watching TV as Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) walks in.

In Wyndemere, Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) asks his young son Spencer Cassadine (Nikolas Bechtel) what he wants to do that evening. Spencer is drawing a cartoon and says he want Britt to come over. Nikolas says they are not a couple anymore as Spencer suggests he be with Aunt Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).

Behind the scenes at the ball, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is rushing around trying to figure out which gown to wear first. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) aeries looking stunning and is wearing her grandmothers Aztec necklace.

In the dressing room, Lucy thanks Felicia foe being such a great friend and keeping all of her secrets. Felicia asks if shes happy that she broke things off with Scottie Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Lucy says she is not sure but is glad that Kevin never found out, as he walks in.

Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) wonders what she means and Felicia covers for her.

Next On General Hospital Today: Nathan wonders if Maxie wants to skip the ball

At Maxie Jone’s (Kirsten Storms) apartment – Nathan West wonders why she is not dressed yet. Maxie fiddles with the invitation and pretends like she is not interested as Nathan heads out.

Maxie’s boyfriend continues to diss the Nurses ball and what a ridiculous show it all is.

Brad tells Britt that she can’t just sit around and wallow, but Britt says she deserves the right to. Britt and Brad bust out laughing when they see Sam trip on the red carpet.

Dressed in a beautiful gown – Nikolas tells Liz how great she looks as she prepares to head out. He tells her to have a good time as he insists on not going to the gala.

Sonny decides hes not going to the ball – ABC General Hospital Soap Updates

Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) stops by Sonnys office and asks why he is not dressed. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) says he is not going to the ball this year, Olivia found out that he cheated on her. Shawn thinks she should go to the ball and fight for her love.

GH Spoilers & Recap: The guests begin to arrive

First up is Silas Clay (Michael Easton) with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) which the host jokes is not a vampire (a nod to Port Charles vampire stories).  Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Julian Jerome (William Devry) arrive making it official they are together.

Sonny decides to come to the ball and he argues with Olivia Falconeri (Lisa Locicero) in front of the cameras and host.  Lucy and Kevin arrive on the red carpet and she looks awkwardly as Scottie and his date Bobbie Spencer arrive.

The 2014 Nurses Ball begins On General Hospital

Lucy emcees the beginning of the show reminding everyone that it is for charity aids research.

The first act begins which is the Welcome to the Nurse’s Ball song that includes Felix, Epiphany and Elizabeth. Suddenly Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) takes over with a sexy European dance number that shocks the room.
